Cystic Lung Disease

Cystic Lung Disease

A collection of lung illnesses known collectively as cystic lung disease (CLD) is distinguished by the presence of numerous cysts. Cysts are described as air-filled lucencies or low-attenuating zones surrounded by a thin wall (typically less than 2 millimeters in thickness). As computed tomography has become more commonplace, there has been a corresponding rise in the prevalence of CLDs.
